It takes a team of volunteers donating thousands of hours each year to operate our free store. Individuals of all ages can get involved through a variety of projects. If your interests are in helping children, education, making craft items, saving our planet or being around a great group of individuals call us today!

TEACHERS’ TREASURES daily volunteer needs are:
Check -In Assistant (Monday – Thursday 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
1 volunteer needed daily
Be the welcoming smile to the end of a teachers day! Greet teachers as the enter the store, register new participants, distribute shop sheets and provide general information at the check-in desk.
Check-Out Assistants ( Monday – Thursday 3:00 PM-6:00 PM )
4 – 5 volunteers needed daily
Spend your time meeting the teachers who receive our supplies while sitting at our check out stations. Since payment is not involved, making change is not necessary. However, attention to detail is needed for reviewing the shop sheet list of items selected by each teacher.
Stocking ( Monday – Friday 9 AM – 2:00 PM ) - shifts lengths can vary to your availability
5-10 volunteers needed daily
Are you a great organizer? Do you love rearranging your home decor and decorating? You could be a great merchandiser in our facility. Help our staff stock, restock and stage our store shelves. Adopt a department and make it your special project: books, school supplies, office supplies, toys and incentives, crafts, science supplies …
The following tasks are flexible to your schedule and the number of hours you can give
(Monday through Thursday between 9am – 6pm )
Sorter / Bundler: Group is the theme with this task. This is a wonderful project for groups (but individuals are welcome too). Help sort donations into category groups and/or have your group sit around our bundling station grouping small items into classroom size groupings. Kind of like a quilting circle group but better!
Cleaning Assistant: Help keep our store clean and tidy. Job includes sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.
Craft Project Assembly: Let your creativity and imagination go wild! Create and assemble journals, bookmarks and flashcards etc. from donated materials.
Data Entry: Have you always been the number cruncher in the family? Do you spend hours on your computer just “fiddling”? Donate your time helping us add shop sheets or entering shopping data into the computer.
Office Assistant: Be our girl(or boy) Friday….. Help with filing, data entry, mailings, etc.
