Job Descriptions

Teachers’ Treasures utilizes volunteers in a variety of positions on a daily basis.

Check-Out Assistant: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM-6:00 PM  – 4 volunteers needed daily After teachers make their selections in the store, a list of items needs to be completed. Since payment is not involved, making change is not necessary. However, attention to detail in completing the shopping list is required.

Stock Clerk: Monday – Friday  9 AM – 2:00 PM  ( shifts lengths can vary to your availability) Help our staff stock, restock and stage our store shelves.  Retail experience is a plus but not required.

Sorter/Bundler: Help sort donations and/or bundle small items into classroom size groupings.

Cleaning Assistant - Help keep our store clean and tidy.  Job may include sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

Project Assembly: Create and assemble journals, bookmarks and flashcards from recycled materials.  Let your creativity and imagination go wild!

Supply Drive Host: Host and organize a supply drive at your business, organization, school or place of worship.
